Shimmerings are a rather different and unique art form. Each piece brings the vibrational energies attributed earth crystals, semi precious stones and coloured beads into your home. Shimmerings are the ideal art to use in conjunction with the chi energy of feng shui. Shimmerings are, in effect, ‘holistic jewellery’ for your home or work place.

Shimmerings are created from earth crystals, natural semi precious stones and coloured beads of various materials including glass and clay, which are fashioned into esthetically pleasing segments. Then diminutive sculptured wire pieces of various metals are added to give visual appeal to this unique art form.

Shimmerings are made to be hung or placed where sunlight or moonlight can activate the vibrational energies inherent in the earth crystals, semi precious stones and colours of each piece. Chi energy can also move along through the home or work place with the use of Shimmerings hung in strategic locations.

In this line Andraya is exploring the use of various mediums to create unique one-of-a-kind pieces. These art pieces are perfect for gifting or for yourself and will be an addition to any home or workplace.

Recently Andraya has started making dolls for the children of close friends. These have become so popular that a new line is emerging, bringing this early art form into a modern forum for exploratory techniques and variations. Currently stylized soft cloth dolls with cloth or polymer clay faces are being explored.

Andraya, being a skilled and accomplished garment designer, is also designing a line of interchangeable doll clothing.

Of course, this line would not be complete without the addition of Magical Creatures such as Fairies, gnomes, and others.

Although first made for children, this line is now intended for those of a more mature age because of the use of small parts and pieces in the manufacture process.
